Chef Cathy Crockett of Kitchen Heroes and Septembre Blake of Cooks’n Corks have teamed up to deliver a fun, practical, delicious action packed hands-on knife skills class. Chef Cathy will have you chopping like a pro…and you’ll enjoy your own creations. Julienne, brunoise, turned, chiffonade – these are some knife cuts you will practice. Blanching and refreshing, macerating, and braising are a few of the cooking techniques you will apply. Together we’ll prepare: Two Tomato Bruschetta, Minestrone Soup, Skillet Glazed Root Vegetables, Citrus Royale on Mesclun Greens and Roasted Rubbed Chicken. Top it all off with a rich Crème Brûlée that YOU torch the top of!! Mmmm delish!

Each participant will receive a complimentary 15×11 Epicurean Cutting Board ($32.00 value) to take home.
Each participant is responsible to bring a sharp Chef’s knife, paring knife and vegetable peeler. Knives must be SHARP! Soft soled non-skid shoes are also recommended for comfort and safety.
